ACLS class offers a set of clinical algorithms for the treatment of life-threatening cardiovascular conditions. It provides healthcare professionals possess the skills and knowledge to support patients during cardiac arrest, stroke and other emergencies.
ACLS covers sudden cardiac arrest (SCA), acute coronary syndromes and stroke recognition and treatment. The healthcare provider will gain the skills in the identification and management of cardiopulmonary, stroke, and airway, emergencies.
The training they receive will give them the confidence, knowledge and skills to handle a cardiac arrest.
You will learn the following:
- Recognition and early management of both Cardiac and respiratory arrest.
- Recognition and early management of peri-arrest cardiac conditions.
- Advanced airway management.
- Related pharmacology.
- Management of ACS and stroke.
- Effective communication
- Being a member and or leader of a resuscitation team
